How many PJ shows have you gone to...solo?

Looking like I might have to go to 10/31 by myself, assuming I can score some 10C tickets tomorrow (person I am going with for 10/30 has to do the trick-or-treat thing with the kids on Halloween, and I really don't think my wife wants to go). So anyways, my question is, how many PJ shows have any of you gone to, by yourself? And is it really that bad going alone (other than feeling a bit like a loser with no friends)? :?

    4 shows alone...6 shows w/a friend (same friend for 4 out of 6)

    i've only done one alone. may 28th 2006 camden. had to leave the lady at the hotel with a bad sickness. it was a tought choice ;)

    traded both our tickets in for one row 11 ticket. closest ive been, had a blast!!! they opened with wash.

    also, i could really let loose at the tailgate with other vancouver friends, great time!

    Going to a PJ show solo is never a bad idea. It's incredibly easy to meet new people, and you'll have the time of your life.

    Never went to any alone but have taken people that i wish i were alone . I may be going to the 28th alone . Will trade one 28 for one 31st anyone ?

    not been to a PJ show alone, but i did go to a one of the EV shows solo. not a biggie.

    i drove by myself to the VFC warmup show in boston, 2nd night. Sold my extra for below face to a cool 10c'er, who I now see at every show. Great show, but the drive back to Long Island after the show was rough by myself.

    I've never been to any concert alone buti'm hittin' up both chicago shows by myself and i'm pretty excited! drivin up from memphis...looking forward to meeting some awesome PJ fans!

    absolutely!

    i've only gone to one show entirely "solo"....MSG 2 2003. simply b/c i accepted 10cs ticket trade for holmdel so i bought someone's spare for MSG 2. however, i do think that most of my shows i have gone "solo" simply b/c more often than not, i've gone to most pj shows w/o my husband. local shows we always go together, but he rarely travels with me for shows. i do go with friends, meet up with friends, share 10c tix, etc....but yea, still kinda feel like it's "just me"...and it's still a great time!

    I think I have been to 8 PJ shows and 2 EV show alone. Its not too bad. :)

    no, we talked about it and she understood. we were in philly and there was no way i was staying in that hotel room, while she shissed and puked all night while PJ was playing across the river. she was cool with it. funny thing is that she had been waiting for "you are" for like 8 shows and of course they played it that night...she didnt finally see it until DC 08.....she is now my fiance, so its all good!

    I went to Tampa and WPB alone last year (met up with friends there) and am going to both Seattle shows alone this year - flying from FL all by myself :?
    Sometimes "Majority" just means all of the Fools are in Agreement.

    out of the 10 shows i've been too...7 have been solo...hopefully 8 with 10c tix tomorrow for philly! every one is so cool and chill i meet new friends every time i go. i find having extra beer or an acoustic guitar makes it easier to make new friends pre-show ;)
    the one i am most proud of is driving 3 hours to albany '03 from rhode island where i live. short set but it was a great night, and my car didn't even break down!

    I've been to 6 PJ and 2 EV shows and went alone to 5 of them and went with someone for 3 of them and have had a great time at all. I'll be heading to Toronto and both Chicago shows this year alone also. It's always easy to sell your extra fan club ticket to someone on the board and the pre-parties are a great place to meet other Pearl Jam fanatics. All of my friends think I'm weird for spending so much time and money seeing the band but everyone at the pre-party thinks your perfectly sane. :D

    i've gone to about 8 solo....but never really alone. i'd meet up with people from the board. met 4 of my best friends in the whole world because of meeting people at shows through this board. :)

    if you get a pair of tix i'm sure someone on here who wasn't so lucky would love to take the extra off your hands...and you may get a new friend out of it!
