No matter how you look at it, those of us who bought tickets for both nights got a raw deal. We've gone from opening night and final night to the two middle shows of four nights. From my experience opening and closing nights are usually the best shows. Make me wrong Philadelphia ! An extra lively crowd could change that.

Ed's stated numerous times that he feels the second to last show is always the one where they really shine, I wouldn't feel like you got a raw deal at all. Hell, you're seeing Pearl Jam - a lot of people don't get to see the band at all, let alone on a regular basis like in Philly.

we didn't get a raw deal at all. it was widely rumored that pj would play more shows in philly.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

    mentioned this in another thread:

i will admit that i am a little ticked off that i went from having tix to the original two shows (assuming at the time of purchase the only two shows) to suddenly having the middle two shows of a four night stand.

  • Trust me, when the house lights go dim on the 28th and 30th I'll be quite comfortable in the Spectrum. However, the shows should all be scheduled together that's all.

I can't believe how much people bitch around here. All I know is it's Pearl Jam Appreciation Week/Phils in the World Series in my bee-yooooo-tee-ful city the last week of October. This rocks so fucking hard.

The alternative could have been no shows on this stretch of the tour. Just be glad the band likes Philly and wants to play here!
