10C Philly Tix: "Comparable to general public sale tickets"
What exactly does this mean? As I'm sure most everyone here knows, there were 200-, 300-, and 400-level tickets sold through the general public sale on comcasttix.com for the 10/28 and 10/30 shows. I'm perfectly fine with getting anything 200-level. However, if the 10C is going to be giving out 300- and 400-level pairs for the newer members, I'd much rather go through comcasttix.com and try for lower level seats. Does anybody have a more exact idea what they mean? it doesn't seem like the 10C would want to stick members in the nosebleeds, but they did give a special warning for this pre-sale, so I'm not sure what to think.
One other thing: will the tickets be sold in two allotments? The typical 10C tickets and then the supplementary Philly tickets that may not be in good locations. Or is it just one big allotment that's completely alloted by seniority?

its the spectrum man...if you have never been there for a concert just know this: any seat in the 200/300 level, no matter the location is a solid seat with great sight lines. just be glad you are in the building

they will have their normal allotment of tix, the "good" tix. Then they were able to secure a number of other tix. I would guess they will be scattered throughout the venue. Probably some from every section, 200's, 300's and 400's. Yes, I bet some would be described as "bad" seats. They probably figure most 10clubbers would rather sit in the 400's towards the top than be stuck outside.
So if you have a high number and dont want to go if you dont get a "good" seat, I would tell you to skip the 10c sale and hope for the best on friday, even though there will be alot less tix available. If you just want to be in the building, like me, but tix on wednesday thru the 10c.
but like others have said, the spectrum is a great place to see a show. The sound is great. be happy to have a seat anywhere.

I was shut out at 10c and public sale for the other two shows. I'm glad I waited before buying something on e-bay. They are about $150 for "bad" seats, even high behind the stage. Crazy. Now I have to have my fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Basically Ten Club is saying that if we usually get 2000 tickets that are the best in the house.... The Spectrum are now allowing the Ten club 3000 tickets that are still best in the house.
So let's say Ten Club usually gets section 200 rows 1-8..... The Spectrum is now allowing rows 1-20 now to accommodate more Ten Club members.
Get what I mean?

I dont think that is what they are saying. I took it as they were able to secure a more than usual amount of tix but that after the usual seats they get, they were able to get XXXX amount of seats throughout the venue. maybe a couple rows here, then a couple rows over there and so on. I highly doubt they were able to get the next XXX number of best seats after the usual 10c tix. If your number is over 300,000 dont be surprised to get 300 level seats halfway back.

After careful consideration.... I believe I see where you are coming from. I'm curious now though as to the correct answer. But I'm not sure if this is important enough to bother the 10C with.

Curious... were there any 10C members that did not get tickets.. even if they were online at the time tickets went on sale? Not to "brag" or whatever, but I've never had a problem getting 10C tickets.. so long as I've been online at the time tix go on sale.

ALOT of people got shut out of tickets for the first 2 Philly shows. By some miracle I was able to score tickets to both shows. Hopefully my luck has not run out. :?
I really hope to get tix for the other two shows as well. Sounds greedy, I KNOW, but if I'm drivin from Canada already, might as well see the other shows as well
