I noticed that in Atlanta also. The local stations were also playing Brother a bunch of after the re-release of Ten.

they do now.. for awhile they barely played PJ.. 92.9 is actually a good station now and the other rock stations here are not bad either.. when I go to NY I am amazed how shitty the radio is up there. You would think a big city like that would have at least a few good stations..

oh, I don't know about the radio there, I was just saying that there have been some killer PJ shows there over the years.

Honestly as an Atlanta resident I have to say that I think our radio is awful here. Thought I haven't listened to it in a good 2 to 3 years either.

I think it is pretty good.. 99x is back, they are ok. 100.5 is solid, 96.1 is too. 92.9 is getting very good and if you like classic rock 97.1 is great. Had that station on at lake lanier and I couldnt have done the playlist myself to please the group of people that were there..

Yeah Atlanta radio is A LOT better than most major cities. I have an XM so I don't listen to much terrestrial radio but when I am in Atlanta I listen to Dave FM and 99X they both play some good stuff. Much better than other big cities. New York City radio is god awful as mentioned before. Most of my friends up there have switched to XM or Sirius as well.
