Special Guests for Shepherds Bush??

edited August 2009 in Given To Fly (live)
I was thinking as this is a small intimate gig.. does anyone think we have any special guest apperances...

I think the most likely maybe The Who ... reasons being is The Who started up at Shepherds Bush Empire and the boys are very good friends and fans of the who...and of course have been know to play a few of thier tracks at neumerous shows... :)

if not I'd love to hear them open the show with Love Reign over me....

  • I've no idea about special guests, but I was thinking earlier today that opening with Love Reign O'er Me would be so amazing. I think since Shepherd's Bush is where The Who were 'born' there should be at least one cover
  • It would be great if they did but Roger is in the USA at the moment preparing for a solo tour, hopefully Pete will turn up. I saw PJ play at the VH1 tribute to the Who in LA it was a amazing show and they played Love Reign over me that night.

My guess is Pete will show up. PJ playing a Townshend song at Calgary the other night seems more than a little coincidence.

  • I really hope the performance of The Real Me in Canada the other day was just a warm up to get ready to play it with Pete Townshend at SBE.
