Taking the kids to the lake this weekend then dropping them at grandma's for a few days, then pick them up on the way to the airport and take off for Chicago.
I still cant believe I am going to a White Sox game....
Life long Cubs fan here......
When the White Sox won the World Series a few years ago it was as if someone ripped my fucking heart out and stapled it to my spleen.....hehehehehehe
Walking in to Comiskey Park is going to make me feel like Custer.....
"Where the fuck did all these Indians come from"??????????
hehehehehehehehehehe....................
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

Yeah and being a Rangers fan I don't like them either, although they don't really have an affect on us. I like going to parks in other cities when I visit so this will be great!
That two-team in one city dynamic is hard to relate to, but I understand you can't be a fan of both the Cubs and the Sox, or the Yankees and Mets.

Having the White Sox win the world series, in my lifetime, as the Cubs havent won one in over 100 years.....
Is something us Cub fans are going to have to live with for the rest of our miserable lives....
And i cant even describe how much it fucking kills me....i am serious....
Its hard to explain.....
Kathy thought i was going to be physically ill when the White Sox won the series.....

Well, if you're going you're more of a man than I'll ever be! You wouldn't catch this TWINS fan anywhere near a Chi Sox game on my own accord.
Make sure you heckle PRICKzynski real good for me..

SOOOO Excited about the Chicago show - I've been to several already, but this is the first time I bought tix as a fan club member. Can someone tell me if it makes a difference getting to the box office when it opens opposed to right before the show starts? I know they said seats are release until the day of the show - so does that mean the earlier you pick up your tix, the better the seat, or are they already picked out?

it doesn't make the least bit of difference what time you show up at the box office.

Its just like leaving tickets at will call, you go before the show that day, hand them your ID and they give you an envelope with your name on it. Only then do you find out what tickets you have. It doesn't matter if you show up at 5AM that morning, or don't go to the show at all, your tickets are your tickets. Doesn't matter if you scored front row and decided not to go.
That said, I wouldn't get your hopes up with 10c tickets. Chicago is a large city with a huge PJ following, the chances of you scoring 1st or 2nd row are slim. Just being there is a good deal though so enjoy it, but don't let your ticket location get you down. Just because you got them from 10c doesn't mean they will be great. I learned that the hard way in 2006 when I went to a show in Chicago with a 10c number in the 375xxx
