Vinyl! I am a new addict. I have a quick question for you experts out there. I have been picking up a few albums recently, including some spendy PJ albums. My question has to do with storing the lps. I have been putting the jackets and orginal paper insert into a sleeve, then the vinyl in a vinyl sleeve as well. I then put the vinyl in its sleeve behind the jacket and close the whole thing up. So, basically, vinyl in sleeve, behind jacket, all in a sleeve.
Is this not a good way to store them? Could this damage the vinyl. I thought it would be good for the cardboard jacket, but the vinyl is the part I want to last for years. Any tips?
Thank you!

Well, I store my vinyl just the way it comes. Nothing fancy. Maybe just the occasional poly sleeve for protection.0

Don't lay them flat and stack them.0

Hell, no! I sure wouldn't do that.0
