It probably just means not the festivals they're playing.

    This is great news!

So is 10C producing these themselves?

Edit: looks like it! Thankfully this year's boots won't be produced by the same company that did then in 2008. So it seems...

Why would it be all shows before Seattle? Maybe then mean some of the festival dates, maybe not all festivals can be sold?

All shows before Seattle are the one's before the album drops. i hope it's just the festivals.

They said available within weeks, so I assume special shows, like sheppards bush, may not be available. And the August shows may not be available until the albulm date

What's your beef with Kufala? I thought they brilliant, the only commendable thing about the 2008 bootlegs.

dude they sucked. poorly mixed bootlegs. guitars would be really low one minute and really high the next. i bought both msg shows and bonnaroo and the audience recordings for the 3 shows sound better than the "official" ones. least with the audience recordings i can actually hear the crowd. pearl jam hasn't gotten it right with the bootlegs since 00. kufala used cd-r's, really come on cd-r. how much of a piss poor company are you to use cd-r's . there are tapers out there can do probably do a better job than kufala. at least basecamp was decent.

Er, wow. 90% of what you just nominated has NOTHING to do with Kufala.

Kufala don't mix or master the recordings, ie: the way they actually SOUND was done in-house by Pearl Jam. I'll give you that they sounded like arse in '08, but that blame should be directed to the guys THE BAND hired to record and mix them.

All Kufala do are print up the covers and burn the discs. That's all. I thought they did a bloody great job of that.

for the record, you can thank the Verizon mobile recording studio bus for the quality of the '08 bootlegs. Kufala had nothing to do with the recording/mixing of the audio,...

I just hope that the fact that they've specified they'll be available "weeks" after the show date means more care will be taken with the mixing/mastering this time around.

i thought they did, my bad. then why bother even using kufala. couldn't pearl jam just use the 10c to print up the cd artwork and burn the disc.

I guess it's just easier to hire someone else to take care of it, I thought the packaging was really nice in '08 so I'm happy to see them do it again.
