at all the other pj shows, they had special parking for 10club members and it was always free! however, i'm thinking it's prolly different in the BIG CITY of chicago??? so can anyone help me out with this info? as its my 7th show, and my cousin's 1st show and we are planning our trip for the 23rd!!! woohoo!!

The United Center isn't right downtown, in which you'd pay at least $20 for parking, but just outside the loop. It's actually on the verge of ghetto, so just be careful not to venture a block west.. East of the United Center is pretty nice though.

Take 90/94 to Madison and go west a mile or two..

Are you staying somewhere in Chicago? Also, you should attend the pre-post parties that they are having at Moretties... They have free parking for night 1 and a free shuttle to/from the UC... Should be a grand time!!!! :D

Always paid the money and parked in parking lot right across the street. Get there at a reasonable time and there is no parking problems.

i always park at the red top lot on the NW of the stadium. they always put trucks along the alley, so i can shoot down the ally, jump back on madison and take that to the western to catch 290W

this doesn't help you much, but yeah, go to the United Center's website for directions

Parking near the UC will be more than 10 bucks. Probably closer to 30. Moretti's is within easy (about a mile) walking distance if they are actually offering free parking. That seems rare unless it is a pre-arranged deal. I sometimes park there and it is at least $10. But I've been to PJ pre-parties at Moretti's and they even had a PJ cover band playing. Don't worry too much about the neighborhood. Just don't walk alone or even away from the crowds with two or less. If you park in the plentiful lots around the UC you are pretty safe. Have a great time!

There's usually plenty of parking lots near the United Center, but they can be kind of pricey. You're most likely not going to find street parking anywhere around that area unless you get there early in the morning. Just don't park on the street if there's any signs saying not to.

Prolly a great idea! Chicago can be kinda crazy! But if you staying downtown or on the loop, your within an easy 3 miles of everything... Remember too- Google maps has great walking directions too!

Holy crap, the UC is only a mile or two west of Madison? That's a lot closer for me. Just kidding...but at first glance, I was like "what?"

So... I am taking my wife to her first PJ show ( for the last 9 shows I have gone without her... I was an obsessive dickhole, and she wasnt interested. I am bringing our 8 year old to, with the hope of scoring a ticket for him??!!???!! He is as stoked as I am about the shows. If I can score him a tix it would make me more that a Nothingman,,,and better than betterman ( at least to my kid)
So, we are staying at the Hyatt- that our rabid fans will consume quickly. I called the Hyatt-$48 a night if you are staying at the hotel. I called several P garages within a few blocks- $35 over night.

Now the drunken question comes to me...
If I can park at Morrietties free overnight 1 night...I can save 48 bucks for family PJ goods.Any confirmation on free overnight parking at the Teamsters or behind Morietties?

shoot away if any profound answers swirl

    thanks
