    Uh-oh, double booked :( ANd I wasthinking of flying over to SD for that show. Wonder what'll happen.

    I emailed Alexis Henry at Surfrider and received the following response:

    “Yes. Unfortunately Pearl Jam will not be attending due to the show in SD. However we are still honoring the band with a Keeper of the Coast award.”

    That is strange.

    I doubt that the band forgot about their commitment to the foundation when they booked their tour itinerary. My guess would be that they've decided not to attend that foundation gala...

    I hope that Jack plays with them that night in SD, as I've never gotten the chance to see him live!!!! And on my birthday, how awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hahaha! yeah I'm not sure how I became so lucky as to get my signed box :-) Plus they are playing on my birthday in SD and I'm flying there to see them!! I love this band!!!

    That's awesome. Hopefully Jack can be there, he and the band are still friends so there's always a chance!
