Why was there no Glorified G at the 2003 Mansfield show?

It seems like they played pretty much every song from the library during those three nights, but I noticed today that there was no Glorified G!! : ( I know not EVERY song was played, but I wonder why they left that one out.

Were there any other major album cuts that weren't played?

It just hit me that there also was no Red Mosquito or Around the Bend, hmm.

I think they realized they missed Glorified G, and picked it up the next night in Hershey. Around the bend wasn't played that tour.

this has been haunting me for years....I was positive then they came out for the last encore they would play it, but instead we got a 2nd YB to close the show. I've still yet to see this song live

The pre-set for the 3rd Mansfield show was acoustic. It was the best set I've ever seen them perform.

I have all three disc, so I'll post the song list later.

Plus they played some songs that had not been played yet on that tour. Driftin, Why Go, ATY. We got Tremor Christ that night too, but I believe it was the second time that tour. It was def. a fair trade!
  • This has been said a million times, but the 2003 Mansfield shows should be released on DVD/Blu-ray in their entirety.

I was lucky enough to be at all 3 shows, and I remember being a little "upset" that they performed "Yellow Ledbetter" a second time since they vowed not to repeat any songs. How dare they! 8-)

I read on Two Feet Thick that they didn't plan on playing Ledbetter that night since they played it night 1. They almost ended it with One Note but no one was leaving cause they thought there was going to be more. They came back out for Ledbetter so that people would leave after and be satisfied.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

They re-debuted "Why Go" after an 8 year absence about 10 days earlier in Washington, D.C. (Bristow). I remember being shocked that they played it and seeing the two guys next to me giving each other the biggest high-five ever.
