I know I'm going to get sh*t about this, but have to say it.

Ok, let me have it. I'm a huge PJ fan, seen them about 30 times, seen Eddie 3 times and also got to meet him. I love it when other bands cover their songs. I.E Seether, one cold night, Arron Lewis. I just found another one I like. Hear me out first. This band just covered Better Man, and let me just say the head singer of this band is so HOT. I'm not much of a fan of her type of music, but I;ve been listening to her band for a little while now and their not too bad. Its Jennifer Nettles of SugarLand, yes I said Sudarland its country. If you get a chance buy their new live CD Sugarland LIVE on the inside. It has a DVD and CD in there. They do a couple of covers, PJ Better Man. Sex on Fire and love Shack. Before you knock it, give it a listen.

    Okay, while I understand that musical tastes are entirely suggestive, I have to say one thing: I need to go throw up, and purge that from my system.

    so if a female musician is hot, that gives reason to like her music. But if a female fan comes on here saying that eddie vedder is so hot and that she likes his hair, she's regaurded as someone who has no clue about music.

    Musical tastes are also subjective. Perhaps even more so than suggestive... ;)

    its pretty bad but whatever. if people want to cover PJ then great!

    i just wish a band i liked would cover them.

    what I DONT like is that cover....which proves that I DO have a clue about music! :D

    I don't mind the betterman cover, especially because the lyrics make more sense coming from a female. The KOL cover could be better, and the subject matter makes me think twice about givin respect to their Betterman.

    I'm sorry I really can not stand her voice. I'm all for a southern accent (my grandfather lives in NC), but her's is like that trailer park, missing teeth, bottle of jim beam in one hand and a cigarette in the other southern accent. I've seen these guys on award shows and whatnot and her voice always goes right through me.

    Women almost have to be hot to make it in music. Very few exceptions. Sad but true. Men, on the other hand, can look like Steven Tyler or Tom Petty.

    Errrrr... it's not for me.

    I don't like the way she sings at all and Better Man is my favourite song... it should not be tampered with IMO.
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
