Last night's Jays V Yankees game

Anyone else watch this baseball game last night.
There were 2 guys behind home plate, to the left of the plate, who were dressed like MLB umpires including umpire masks, who kept them on when the Yankees were up at bat and emulated the home plate umpire; whenever he made a strike sign with his arm, they got up and did that, and whenever there was a foul ball and he would throw a ball to the pitcher they would emulate him and get up out of their seats, pretend to take ball from behind their backs and throw to the pitcher.
They were highly entertaining and I give props to their dedication

Do you know the ESPN show E60,...they just did a segment on these guys. I think it aired this week. The washington nationals also had them do a seventh inning stretch act with their mascot when toronto played in dc.
My amazement is....the amount of money these dudes must spend to always get those seats behind the plate!!

Personally, I feel sorry for the people who purchase seats behind them.
Blue Jays GM Confirms There Never Really Was A 'Roy Halladay'
"Roy Halladay is just the latest in a long string of completely fictitious Blue Jay greats, a list that includes Dave Stieb, Jesse Barfield, and Joe Carter, whose home run to win the 1993 World Series was actually just a two-run single in the seventh inning by Paul Molitor."

I usually get a chuckle out of them when watching the game, but like you, I feel bad for those sitting behind them. I know I wouldn't want to be directly behind them.
Funny article.
Sounds hilarious. I have to make sure I czech them out
