Just saying is all. I found an illegal copy of backspacer. i was tempted, but i want to hold the sucker in my hands while listening to it.

I waited for avocado. Until the edge in toronto played a special which showcased some of the songs on the album plus interviews. Wonder if they will do that again for this one.

Who's waiting? who gave in?

    fake or not i'm still waiting. I'm not checking out another tune till i have the album. First listen as a whole aside from fixer, got some and speed of sound.

    is it worth it? or is cheating better?

    its a tough call for me. the album comes out on sunday and i see two seattle shows immediately on monday and tuesday. im gonna cave and get something before those shows hopefully. but i will only get it say a week prior. i want to know the songs for the live experience. its really cool though that those two seattle shows should get debuts for most of the album, like the astoria gig in 06 got avo debuts.

    You didn't find an illegal copy of Backspacer. It has yet to leak. You probably found a virus planted on a torrent on a mediocre and public torrent site.

    I'm waiting too.. I've seen Got Some on Conan, heard the Fixer online and gave a brief listen to the demo of The End from when you found all the pieces of the artwork but otherwise I'm not going out of my way to find backspacer stuff. If they play new songs in Toronto this month thats cool.. but otherwise I'm taking it as the band is giving it and I'll get my fill on Sept 20.

    Except that I heard Got Some on Conan.
    And The Fixer on the radio.
    And bootlegs from Eddie shows of The End and Unthought Known.
    And the Speed of Sound demo.
    And that I'll listen to Supersonic since it's the b-side to The Fixer which will arrive before the album on beautiful white vinyl.
    And I'm not opposed to listening to leaks, or new radio singles.
    I guess I'm not waiting. :lol:

    ah yes, the kazaa day's! don't forget the first year or so before metallica went midevil on napster day's. what an amazing jungle of a time it was.
