I just checked to see if verizon had put up ATW up as a ringtone, and they had! I know its just a 10 second clip, but it sounds amazing honestly. You all should check it out if you can.

    I checked the site so I wouldnt have to keep going to my phone, but it isn't on the website. I can only find it by going through my cell. Its very catchy, not really a fast tempo. Mid tempo I suppose. More like the beat to Alive if I were to compare it I guess. But maybe a bit slower. Im not saying it sounds like Alive, because it obviously doesn't. Im just trying to describe the beat. Eddie's vocals seem spot on

    I am sorry if Im not doing a good job describing, it is just hard to really give a good description of a 10 second clip. But it makes me very excited to hear the rest.

    As tempting as that sounds, I really want a blank slate of the album (except for the obvious SOS (demo), GS and TF). I want to have 8 new songs (out of 11) on 9/20. I did hear the live versions of The End and Unthough Known, but I totally forgot how they sound. Backspacer Blackout until 9/20. Too bad Backspacer wasn't done 5 months earlier, so we could of had it on 4/20...get it, 4-20!!! Shit, 4/20 was on a Monday.

    Oh man! I just downloaded it to my phone and all i can say is WOW!!!!! Normaly I would not participate in this type of hyperbole...especially over a 10 second clip...but let me tell you this sounded AMAZING. It was sort of a Marker in the Sand tempo...with a BIG catchy hook.

    It reminds me of nothing in the PJ catalog really. I would even say it's very U2ish. This album might be legendary.

    Right, yeah I couldn't really put my finger on a specific song in the catalog to compare it to. Your thoughts seem to describe it better than mine. But I agree with you 100%. This album is going to be amazing

    Yes I believe so. It says when I downloaded it that it is a verizon exclusive.

    I don't have Verizon but my friend does and I just listened to the clip on her phone. The song sounds awesome! I can't wait to hear the rest of the song along with the rest of the album. So far I love every song I have heard from Backspacer!

    yeah im going to have to agree, having already heard 5 of the 11 songs I dont wanan hear anymore until I get the album.

    no offense, but I feel so old now because my response to this thread was 'kids these days'....
    I just cant listen to a PJ song for the first time as a crappy quality ringtone. come on 9/20!
