Opinions on Epiphone Wilshire

I've been looking at purchasing one of these guitars for a while now. Has anyone played an Epiphone Wilshire? If so, what are your thoughts about it? Was it good or bad? Thanks.

    Just to clarify: Do you mean a vintage model or the reissue? Haven't played one personally but just on paper I don't like the fact that they substituted the P-90 and Firebird pickups for standard humbuckers in the reissues.

    I was just talking about the reissue "limited" edition one with the humbuckers.

    Well, I can tell you what probably everybody would suggest, which is that the best thing would be going to a guitar store and trying one out for yourself. That is if you live anywhere near a decent guitar store... I would always suggest that especially with cheaper guitars, because the discrepancys from one guitar to another tend to be bigger with cheaper models.
