come to think of it, this thread wouldn't be necessary if we could view each others' profiles. it's a feature of the site, but for some reason, they disabled it. i know i entered all of my shows and they're shown on my profile on the main site.

for some reason it wont let me add the shows i been to

i remember having trouble...it wasn't an easy process.

 of course it wasn't, you say this as if you thought something here would be EASY !! :o

Anyway, I've been three shows-- soon to be four (don't remember the exact dates):

2000 at Riverbend - Cincinnati, OH

and August 23, 2009 at the United Center - Chicago, IL!

Was also at all those show. Cincy 06 was my favorite for sure. The loudest crowd I have been in for sure.

    Also been to:
    2006 at Q Arena - Cleveland, OH
2007 at Lolla - Chicago, IL
    2008 at Verizon Center - D.C.
    2009 - 2 E.V. Shows at the Ryman - Nashville, TN

    Soon to Add:
August 23, 2009 at the United Center - Chicago, IL
August 24, 2009 at the United Center - Chicago, IL
October 30, 2009 at the Spectrum - Philly, PN

    And when its added:
October 31, 2009 at the Spectrum - Philly, PN

    My list:
    '05 Toronto
    '06 Toronto Night One
EV Performance (only three songs) at Toronto International Film Festival
'08 Madison Square Garden Nights One and Two
EV Massey Hall Nights One and Two
    EV Albany Night One

    Coming up:
    Toronto
    Chicago Nights One and Two

We have a very similar list. Add Toronto '00 and Kitchener '05 and subtract the Film Fest, EV Massey night 2 and Albany.
How the hell did you get those Film Fest tix?
Craigslist the day of! Was more than I should have paid for a ticket, especially considering he only played two songs, but it was fantastic. And the question and answer period was something special to see too. Got there in the line about two hours before the show in the pouring rain and waited - ended up getting front row... when Eddie came out with his acoustic guitar and sat down on his stool, it made it all worthwhile

More than half of mine were in the early 90's, then I procreated and started back again in 2000 when he was ready for school. Many of them I don't remember unless I find the stub or someone starts talking about it or they tell me I was with them there.

*nods* What I find troubling is that some people do act - and say - differently here on the board (even behind the boards elsewhere online) than they would offline. I am what you see is what you get.
    the wolf wrote:
....2006 was a great show IMO, but gets shit on by a lot of people.

Oh, I am so pleased to see you and a few others agreeing to that!

Out of four or five shows that year, it was the best show for me - yes even better than GR! No, not setlist wise, mind you.... it was the best access to the music for me. I got to be more part of it than any other shows and I was in heaven! If you knew me, you'd understand.

And I had the "worst" seats of all shows - way in the back and even around "quiet" people (doesn't bother me if they don't jump around and screaming - whoopedoo - even bonus for me cuz I can see a little better! ;)

And I didn't even get 10c seats for this show - I waited too late when deciding to go there at the last minute when we were on our way to Tennessee for family vacation.

Anyway, to the OP - bigbadball - I honestly can't remember what shows I've been to... there were even times when I have trouble remembering, "Did I go to that show?"

But I think it's safe to say 15 shows, including one EV solo show. The "epic" shows - for me personally - is Cincy 2006 and EV solo show in Nashville.

Have a great time in LA/San Diego, bigbadball!

I bought the SD tickets through 10c...but I can't go because the plans didn't work out as I hoped...darn. But I'm really really hoping they'd play there next year!!!
JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?
    EV: It's your band.

They probably wouldn't. They do it on here b/c it is a Pearl Jam discussion board. And if they did, you could just walk away, just like those people on here - if you don't want to read what shows they guy has been to, why even read this thread... the title is quite clear. People write on here to talk to other PJ fans about different things, not to get insulted and made fun of.

Irrelevant. The poster said people would not insult people to their face, so it makes sense to bring up that someone would not just walk up to someone and say which Pearl Jam shows they have been to. If the OP really wanted to just know which shows people have been to, he could have just asked or titled the thread, "what shows have you been to? Instead, he names the thread "Shows I've been to" and just lists them without even saying, "what shows have you been to?" He wanted to show off.
