    i'm pretty f-ing pumped... i do wish it was out before the chicago shows so i could spin it in the car on the way down... but..... soon enough, we'll all have it to enjoy! i still love this band after 17 years or so!!

    I'm really happy with Speed of Sound and The Fixer. Those two songs have me stoked for the record!

    I am very very very excited. Hopefully those of us who ordered the 10 Club edition get it a few days early. I have only heard the three songs officially released or debuted (Fixer, Got Some, Speed) but they all have me looking forward to the rest of the album even more. It should be an exciting next year or so to be a Pearl Jam fan I imagine.

    I'm in NPJAA mode - New Pearl Jam Album Anxiety

    I even named my Yahoo! Fantasy Football team Backspacer.

    I find myself counting down the days, hours and seconds.

    From today, 8/5/09, we have 46 days (1104 hours, 66,240 minutes, and 3,974,400 seconds) until I go into Target and buy the new album.

    I'll miss the days of lining up at Tower for the midnight releases, as I did with No Code, Binaural, Riot Act, and Pearl Jam.

    Ive only listened to Got some from Conan 2 or 3 times and not since the day after they played. Listened to the Fixer a bunch.

    Thats all im listening to beforehand. Cant wait to spin it and hear the majority of it for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I feel ya.....And i think its bc the boys were more pumped last time around....all they kept talking about was how "aggressive" and "loud" S/T was......

    Barely hearing anything from them about Backspacer, compared to how they were for Avocado
