I came across this video by accident and I couldn't believe how fast they were playing. They were young, hungry, mad about the recent death of Cliff Burton and took it ALL out on stage. Also I had no idea Jason played on the MOP tour, he also had a gracious tumble in this show. This surely is one the classic live shows only thing that was missing was my favorite song from MOP Disposable Heroes.

I'm not the biggest Led Zeppelin fan even though I've most if not all of their albums. The ones I might not have are the live ones and as far as live videos not many at all. Like this one, it's the first time I'm seeing this one and I like what I'm hearing and seeing......

For sure, G! I remember reading somewhere that Neil was really into working out at the time. Around the time of his Harvest album, he had, among other things, serious back issues. He was not really healthy- scrawny as all get out- as can be seen in the live Rust era:
He finally decided he needed to get strong and it really shows in that SNL video. I read he even worked out before going on for that show. Mighty impressive!

I had the pleasure in meeting 4 out 5 of the members of this band one early morning back in 84'-85'. GUESS, which one wasn't there? Seen the band many times and the energy level always seems to be the same....All out till the end. Also of the hundreds of concerts I've been to this band is by far the loudest and that's with earplugs. The stamina of Phil Rudd and Angus is just over the top.....watch Angus near the end.
