Chicago: to go or not to go?

I'm thinking about going to the 1st Chicago show because I live in Kentucky and I've finally lost hope that they will play anything closer this year (i.e. Ohio, Tennessee). But it's like a 7 hour drive from here and the only tickets I can get at a reasonable price are in the upper level. You think it's worth the drive + money? I've never been to the United Center-- how bad would 300 level seats be?

if you have to ask then i think the answer is probably no... hold out for something in 2010... i think youll get something... out of indy, cleveland, cincy, nashville, lexington, and memphis (all closer to you) you should get atleast one of those on a full tour

depends on the funds... i just know that whenever i second guess something im usually glad i did and had that money for emergencies that come up later on

thats the logical response... as a fan im thinking "DO IT!" :)

I just PM'd you about an extra I have for the 1st show...
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!
