Great. They're better than the rest of the announced bands so far so there may be someone else worth watching at the show on Saturday. If they are on at 6:20 on a side stage, that might mean Pearl Jam is on by 7:30 which would give them at least 2:30 to play. Good stuff.

It is too bad that PJ couldn't get Wintersleep to open in Toronto as well. That is a great addition to a very weak V Fest lineup in Calgary though!

I'm digging the 6:20 start time--I'd say that means at least two hours for Pearl Jam, and maybe more. Four more days!

Very cool that Wintersleep is playing! They did a great job when they opened for PJ for the St. Johns shows back in 2005.
"McCready played on, lending credence to the theory that he was actually built in Stone’s basement from spare truck parts and vinyl records." - Glide Mag. review of MSG 7/8/03
  • It will be great to see Wintersleep again...but man I am excited about this show :) This will be my first time ever that I only had to travel like twenty minutes to see Pearl Jam. I guess it is the one perk of living in Calgary.
  • I'm glad to hear this. I missed Wintersleep when they were in Edmonton last, at my favorite venue no less. This makes the $100 ticket absolutely worth it! Awesome band.

Much love for Wintersleep - wouldn't have dared missed their set if they were opening in T.O. - not the case with TL and the Rx.
