London Ticket Collection

I have trawled through the forums but I can not find an answer to this anywhere. If it has been posted about before, please forgive me.

Has anyone had a definitive piece of information yet with regards to picking up the tickets for the O2 show? I purchased my two tickets on the 29th April in the pre sale. I have an order number and my bank account has been charged for the tickets. I have not received one single communication regarding the tickets. Not so much as a confirmation that I have got the tickets. The show is now two weeks away. I have no idea exactly what I have to do on the day of the show to get my tickets. Where to go, what ID I need, what time I can pick tickets up.

I have tried emailing tenclub and several occasions but for some reason I don't believe I am receiving ANY emails from them even though all my settings allow for them. I have even tried phoning them (pricey as I live in the UK) and on each occasion only got a recorded message. I have left my details but still heard nothing back.

PLEASE put my mind at ease and tell me I have nothing to worry about for the 18th August, I am getting a little worried now

Thanks ladies and gents

  • None of us have heard anything. Tenclub will send out and email closer to the time telling us what ID to bring, ticket pick up times and locations... don't panic :D
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I received the following email a week after I bought the tickets:

This is the initial confirmation of your Ten Club ticket purchase for the Pearl Jam show on 18/8 in London. 1) Your Ten Club purchase is for two (2) reserved, seated tickets. 2) Tickets are not mailed in advance. Tickets are distributed at the box office at the venue on the day of the show. 3) Ten Club members must be present to collect the tickets at the box office on the day of the show. 4) All Ten Club members must show photo identification to collect purchased tickets. 5) Ticket distribution will begin approximately 2 hours before doors open. More information about box office location and door times will follow closer to the date of the show. 6) Reserved seating is allocated by seniority. The longer you have been a member in the fan club, the closer your seats are to the stage. Seat allocation is contingent upon how many members are in attendance. Seat location is not revealed prior to the performance. 7) All ticket sales are final. Additional questions regarding your tickets can be directed to tickets@tenclub.net. Thanks10c ticket staff

    I've had nothing since.

Your email client must be blocking them (donotreply@lists.pearljam.com is where they arrive from. Check your spam folder).
Also you can call the US for dirt cheap (as little as 1p/mn.. through Telediscount, 0844 861 78 78 for example), but if you get a recorded message at 10c that suggest to me you're calling out of hours.. they're 8 hours behind remember.

Anyway, as long as the tickets are in your order history, you're fine, don't sweat it ;)

The box office is right outside the underground station at the dome.

The queues will be fairly big, but they will work through fairly promptly.

Unless I was in a daze going through the O2, but the underground station is in a separate structure to the dome, and yeah, the box office is right at the entrance to the dome on the walk in from the tube station.

I thought the box office was just as you walk into the dome on the left hand side right by the doors??? :?

Yep, that's exactly where it is. However, 10C may have a seperate arrangement for doing their ticket distribution. IIRC they used the outside merchandise point at Wembley in 2007.

    1. Much much easier to get a taxi from Hyde Park at that hour. O2 is completely empty at that time.
    2. The Royal George has an awesome ukelele jam night on Wednesday. If I wasn't planning on sending off someone at the airport, I'd so grab some PJ mates still in town to go there. Weather permitting, I'd suggest leaving London and spend a day out at Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace.

You would've had 4 shows inside a week by this stage, so it'd be good to just sit back and relax and recharge- Hyde Park is nice for that. Or one of the pubs on South Bank.

Thursday and Friday would be a good time to hit up Borough markets for some food. Camden markets is worth a visit, I guess. At night, in case you haven't had enough music, there's always someone playing somewhere in Camden, and across much of London really.

I'd play tour guide, but I only get Wednesday off, the day after O2, and I just wanna spend some quality time with close people around then.

Two Bars I can wholly recommend are The Cro Bar in Mannette Yard and the Intrepid Fox about half a kilometre from there. Well worth checking out. Both rock bars with fine juke boxes and a good crowd.

Well, the bus is leaving from MEN Arena not too long after the show. Now I have never been on that stretch of road between London and Manchester, but I imagine the traffic can't be too bad at about 1am.

And you're planning on queueing straight away?? Don't fancy recharging your batteries anywhere??

Only reason I ask is our flight isn't arriving til 8.30am with about another 90 mins to get to the o2 and I don't want to be too far back in the queue! ;)
