My Poster Story.. EV Kenyon Hall

I am not a huge poster on the forums, but I do visit here on a daily basis and check things out. For the past two years I have tried desperately to get the Eddie Vedder Kenyon Hall poster. I tried through the ten club, and the page crashed. I tried through brad klausen's website, and it crashed. Honestly, I never thought I was going to get this print without paying 200 dollars, and there is no way I could ever pay that.

About a week ago, I decided to post on the forums about wanting this poster, and to my surprise, a very nice member offered to sell it for $50 bucks, total, including shipping!!!! I could not believe it!!! It sounded too good to be true. Anyway, I sent the money to him and within 3 days I had the poster. He said it was probably near mint condition, but I didn't see anything wrong with it. To me it was perfect. I am not going to post his id or anything, but it is nice to know that there still are GOOD people out there who will help people out and aren't always worried about making a few BUCKS! I know we all get frustrated with the scalping of the tickets and the posters, but this just goes to show that not everyone is like that.

I will give one last Thank You to the person who sold me the poster. Don't know if he will read this or not. For those looking for rare items, you may get lucky too!!!

I saw the thread, I know who he is ... (well, his forum id)

  • Good karma for both of you. If it was up to me though, I'd post his/her name. People get dogged enough for the bad things they do, it's good to stand up and give credit to someone for doing something nice. The world could use a little more incentive for looking out for more than one's own wallet. Either way, good vibes all around.

nicely done. after the eV Kenyon Hall poster i purchased from the 10C was lost/stolen while on its' way to me, i was able to secure the poster from a generous source here as well,...

Congrats, this is one of my favorite posters - EVER

I normally refrain from buying posters from shows that I didn't attend. However, this poster was the exception.

Feel in love with the art from the moment I first saw it. I got one and had it framed within a week of owning it

congrats on finally owning it - I know how that feels - I was able to secure one through the pit (thanks again strummers!) and I enjoy the poster a lot. there are tons of good folks around these parts!

I took it to get it framed today. Yeah, definitely good karma on both sides. It makes me sick seeing some of these posters on ebay for 3x their value. Such a nice person though.

Congrats on the poster score. It's definitely one that I've been looking for but have never been able to find without spending an arm and a leg.

    Agreed. :)

It's so easy to see bad things all the time and feeling down.... even losing hope about humankind.

Great poster story! I am going to pay more attention to stuff like this...it's like a good disease!
