Soundgarden Reunion 2010

I apologize if this Question has been asked before, I looked at the 1st 10 pages to see if it was a topic and I didn't see it. I heard over the weekend that Soundgarden was getting back together with a new Album and Tour in 2010. Does anyone know if Matt will be a part of that reunion?

Yeah there was another thread about this. Basically it's all hear say. But in my opinion there is no way Matt Cameron would do anything other than maybe 4 or 5 reunion shows with Soundgarden. He's not going to leave Pearl Jam to rejoin a band that's been dead for 12 years.

Chris and Ben have both said there is no reunion planned in separate interviews.

And instead of taking the time to jump down someone's throat over re-asking a question, why not just answer it real quick. Takes just as much time, and its helpful...

I can see them doing a couple shows (maybe some festivals and major markets) but I doubt it would be a full out permanent reunion. Maybe something along the lines of what Rage has done. I could see them playing New York/LA/Seattle/Chicago/Boston and then playing Lolla and Bonnaroo but nothing that wouldn't work with PJ's schedule for next year. I imagine that Matt would keep PJ as his main focus and play with Soundgarden when he has the time.

To echo what someone previously said, I don't see Matt leaving Pearl Jam to permanently stay with Soundgarden. It would be stupid on multiple accounts.

Doing a couple of shows would be awesome,...but a new album....I dont know, I'd be worried about that. Best to leave it alone, not ruin a good thing.

The same questionS shouldn't have to be answered a bajillion times when people could perhaps just use the 'search' function. I do believe its there for a reason.

The original poster actually aplogised to me after some rather just explanation.

I'm not trying to attack anyone directly including the original poster, but the general trend of the forum.. All i said was to perhaps use the search function and maybe check the other music section too as that's where some threads may be. And for perhaps calling this thread pointless well thats my view and i think i have a fair point. I dont really care who posts it, its just the notion thats annoying.
