Hey guys

My wife and I are super excited to be seeing PJ in New Zealand. However, shes pregnant. This talk of GA has me worried, no way can she be in a mosh pit etc with our baby. Do we buy 10C tickets, not knowing if they are GA or seated, or do we wait for the public onsale to get reserved seating?

This is about safety, not preference. As much as Pearl Jam means to me, safety of my wife and unborn child means more. Anyone got any thoughts?

My advice si to buy TC seats. And later on if they are not what you three want ( ;) ), trade them. I´m sure somebody would want those!

Wait for the 10c announcement for tix. They'll tell you if they only have GA on offer, or if they have seating available as well.

Unless it's unwanted, there's a HUGE difference between pregnancy and physical handicap.

of course-what made you think i was drawing a comparison?
but, the handicapped seating is probably a much less stressful environment
and probably closer to the bathroom, which is important for a pregnant woman!

just a suggestion-never hurts to call the venue and see what they would do to accommodate you-my guess is they would suggest handicapped seating (i.e. chairs on the rail between the upper and lower sections)

Thanks for all your replies. I guess my question is, never having purchased 10C tickets before, will we get a choice between seated/GA? Or is it just turn up and see what you have got?

There was a choice for UK seats. Usually it's all seated so there's no issue. I'm sure they'll offer us both, but even the closest seats will be worse than GA.

even if seated, you could be on the floor, which, IMHO, might not be the best option
so if you secure 10C tix or tickettek or whatever it is in NZ,
TRUST and call the venue! I am certain they will accommodate you

Question: If is GA, can't you just choose a seat? :? :)
