Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, thats why its called The Present.

In a couple of days we can buy PJ tix with Mastercard, Amex or Visa.
  • Sorry mate I was looking at the ticketek site. The presale there starts tuesday the 11th.

I bought tickets from Showbiz during a pre-sale once and they were absolutely horrible seats. Really really bad. So it can be a bit of a hit and miss.

Showbiz.com and other pre-release sites are shocking.
    Come to send, not condescend...
  • I really can't see these 3rd-party mugs offering a better deal than 10C will give us.

From what I make of it, this is simply pre-emptive scalping for the idiots.

I would put money on it that all they do is throw in all their orders when the official pre-sale @ ticketek opens on the 11th.

The ONLY people that this would advantage would be those silly enough to not figure out how to register at ticketek, and those lazy enough not to line up for the general sale. I've never seen a pre-sale seat to be any good at all. Infact, Bris 1 (Nov 10), 2006 I got 4 x pre-sale and they were BACK ROW of the whole bloody Entertainment Centre! I lined up and got front row on Mike's side in the stands about 1/3 back.

So I say BALLS to Showbiz, and BALLS to ticketek pre-sale.

definatly balls to showbiz coz you will pay a premium, and in 2003 in the ticketek presale i got back row on the floor in the corner

10c or normal ticketek will be fine, there are a lot of seats to fill

Can somebody please fill me in...
Are 10c tickets cheaper and do they only sell them in pairs?
    Thanks.

So if I want to go to the Adelaide and Melbourne shows I need to buy 4 tickets if it is a 2 ticket policy?

Generally 10C tickets won't be cheaper - I think they may have been more expensive than public sale in 2006 but not by much.

10C only ever sell in pairs, so the answer is yes to your second question.

Yeah, because Ten Club tix are sold in US$ they usually end up slightly more expensive.
In 2006 Ticketek/Ticketmaster tix were $100 each and Ten Club tix were $115 each

So which way is the best way to get tickets?
I take it you are guaranteed tickets through 10c whereas through an agent you risk missing out due to demand on the phone, net, and size of the line at the box office?

Ten Club is the safe bet.

i don't know if they actually guarantee you'll get tickets, but last tour they were up for at least a week, from what i remember. and i don't recall an aussie missing out on 10 club tickets.

so i guess they are your best bet.

I'm pretty sure Melbourne was the only show that sold all of Ten Club's ticket allocation. Saying that though, even they were up for a few days before selling out

You are going to exactly the same shows that I am. And I'll have a spare Adelaide ticket cos of the Ten Club selling them in pairs and I can only get someone to go with me to Sydney and Melbourne.

ticketek should be ok, but with homebake going on sale at the same time, the site could have a lot of traffic
