i'm not complaining...just curious as to why?...i don't know if the prices listed were in Australia dollars or not, but even if it is, 123 is 103 in America...why are they so expensive?

the two reasons i can think of is trips to Australia is really expensive and it's what the band is going to need in order to feasibly make the trip...and that it's just supply and demand...there is obviously a larger demand for pearl jam in Australia so they raise the price as a result...but that last one isn't very PJ-like so i'm assuming it's the first one...anyone else have a better reason?

Guessing as every tour down under by any band or artist is way more expensive that it's because of the travel, time and distance to Australia and NZ. They are expensive but as I said every show down under is more expensive because of where it is in the world.

ticket prices are in local currency, not USD, but still they are expensive compared to the US which is always my argument when people complain about prices

    $124 AUD = $103 USD
    $120 NZD = $80 US

prices on Aus tickets are only up $8 australian in 3 years, which is a real surprise :D

They're only a fraction more than in 2006. That's very affordable for "big" concerts down here.
