Someone on the Philly Craigslist is selling his tickets claiming "PEARL JAM W/SPECIAL GUESTS SOUNDGARDEN 10/28"
Just another douche, or someone who knows something? I remember hearing speculation of Soundgarden, but this is the first I've heard of someone actually claiming it is Soundgarden.. Maybe someone will contact this guy and see how he knows

    i will be very upset if SG is opening and i didnt know far enough in advance to get there at all costs! that would be EPIC though for those that are going

    chicago openers not confirmed yet either right? throw SG in there too and i will be :D:D:D

    I can't remember what interview it was, but the interviewer told Stone, that he heard a RUMOR that the special guest was Soundgarden or Alice In Chains. Of course Stone wouldn't say either way.

    Didnt somebody just post a magazine article with an interview with Kim? I read it and it at no point did I get the feeling that playing shows was even a thought.

    yep... certainly not so soon after that article... he didnt rule it out at some point... but if he was covering up shows to take place just months later hes got a great poker face

    In the past few years, every time there has been a rumour of a band reuniting it seems to happen despite the denials. The more denials often mean more of chance it's going to happen. Gotta love the Internet.

    Cornell's solo career has tanked. This is an obvious choice for him.

    I'll be so jealous if this is what Philly gets.

    I love Soundgarden also, and it would be sweet to see them open for PJ, but in reality.... Chris Cornell's voice=shot

    Alright, this turned out to be nothing. I contacted him, here's what he said:
    "They said it on a local radio station here in Philly yesterday.... So that's what I'm basing that off of... But fuck I hope they are there, might be the best concert ever hahaha "

    This could also be a Temple of the Dog reunion, all the players are there.
    How about this, Sound Garden opens up the show, then Pearl Jam hits a sweet set with an encore, then it wraps up with Temple of the Dog, ending with Reach Down. WOW!

    It wouldn't make sense for Matt to go on a full blown reunion tour with Soundgarden. I can see a hand full of shows maybe, but only if it doesn't interfere with Pearl Jam. I mean, Matt doesn't stand to gain anything out of it. He's already in the greatest band in the world right now.

    Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Soundgarden. Superunknown owns my soul. But reunion tours are for bands who have nothing better to do and are desparate for money/attention, and that's not Matt Cameron. If Chris, Kim, and Ben want to do a full tour, my guess is they'll have to find a new drummer.

    I agree 100%.

    Chris sounds amazing right now. I think there was a time not too long ago where his voice was pretty bad, but I think since he stopped smoking he sounds better than ever.

    Wish Ed would do the same...
