I wonder if it was all Ed. I'm thinking this is the version he demoed to the rest of the band.. I can't wait to hear the full band!

this is a semi-official release (which is good enough for me to be able to listen to the song and still remain celibate)

they had a puzzle game where you look for all the pictures on the cover art and when you are done, it unlocks Speed of Sound as a demo

Yes, I'll chime in agreement with the "Ed doing layered vocals over Ed" idea, no doubt about it for me. Great job with that aspect by the way, and I do hope he does a bit more of that on this album, as the result is wonderful to listen to. Ed really seemed to shy away from the layered vocal thing for quite a while, but I think this shows that it is a technique that really works well for him.

And thanks to PJ Fat est. 1990 for filling peeps in on the puzzle game (was gonna do it myself)...no one should be left in the dark about new PJ tracks at this point!!! :D

just doing my duty...but i think the reason Ed backed himself is cause he probably recorded and mixed the demo on his own 8 track (as seen in Imagine in Cornice) i do that myself...i need to put my stuff on a CD though and try to sell them

Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
