Why aren't 10clubbers first to know....

Im in New Zealand and am hanging to get the oz and nz dates confirmed....how has the ticketek australian shows been confirmed and now added to the ticketek site with on sale dates etc and we haven't been told a thing here from 10c??     Perhaps the Ten Club doesn't always get the information first? Perhaps they have a scheduled time to release it, and someone else jumps the gun? Perhaps because they wait until everything is finalized and they get the go ahead from the band? Perhaps because a band member talks to the media before management has a chance to get it on the website? Perhaps because they assume you can use Google?

    Seriously, what is the big deal about hearing something before you hear it from the Ten Club? I really don't understand the complaint. If the information is relevant, they will get you the information. Calm down people.

    We used to be the first to know, but that's not how it's worked lately for sure. I'm not sure why, although they must have their reasons. :)

    it is a backdoor link as well :lol: but the way ticketek structure there pages, it is easy to work out :lol:

    While I agree with you in spirit, as I hate it also, this seemed to me to be a legitimate question. I really didn't feel any whining, just a question. :)

    Nice to have some rational feedback!!...eh thanks...not sure where my complaint was though....Its an official ticketek link so I was simply asking how we don't get the heads up on tour dates at least....is this whining??? Don't think so....surely If a ticketing website has official news, the least we should have here is confirmed dates? But hey, thats just me....

    I agree with you, I mean I don't think it is such a wild idea to think that the fan club, which represents the inner workings of the band and its management, might actually have the most current and first-to-know information. Certainly not going out on a limb by thinking along those terms, and definitely not asking too much. And I am not one who would normally go off on the 10C for this sort of thing AT ALL, but there comes a certain point where, no matter who you are, you have to ask yourself why doesn't the fan club get first word on certain things. And with all due respect to Tim and everyone at 10C, I'm sure in some cases even they can't blame us for thinking this. We still love ya 10C, but then again, business is business, and I guess we have to just suck it up and *try* to undestand it. :roll:

    i personally don't give a fuck but for the sake of argument.. would one not assume that fan's would get word here before they see it somewhere else? obviously , ten c has the news before anyone. since its indicative of the band... but you are right about their being no "rule" or guarantee that fans get news first.. butt in a perfect world.. ;)
