2010 I predict Pearl Jam will return to the South

Curtis himself said the band is debating whether to play arenas or amphitheaters next year, I think the south will get the summer tour we have been craving for the last 6 years! South 2010 baby!

    In the Cleveland Stone interview he says that they are covering the world in 3 months and then filling in where they haven't been in the states in '10. It's no longer a prediction, its just fact.

    i would imagine they would wait for april to start touring again.
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    That is a big assumption on your part.

    If I had to bet on it, I would say that they will hit the south in 2010. But I also would have bet that they'd play some shows in the south this year too (aside from ACL), so you never know...

    So far Im super Happy, Im hitting Chicago and ACL this year and I know I will catch some shows south or not next year, so things couldn't look better, and of course if its the south even better! :D

    Had no idea Stone said that, I hope they play everywhere, places that the band has never been to before, 2010 will be a good year!

    I would love for this to be true.

    However, if they won't play down here in Sept/Oct ... you know, when they are already in Texas for ACL ... then I don't have my hopes up for them ever playing down here proper again.

    Instead of playing some southern dates in conjunction with ACL, they are playing LA and ... LA.

    Of course they wil. Jeff said they will and I highly doubt they will abandon thir fans after all of these years. The mood that the band is in now is too good for them to skimp on anything.

    I hope the South gets some shows next year. You people deserve it! I met so many nice southern fans in Atlanta when I was there for the Ed shows in June. I would love to travel to the south next year and see a show with you guys/girls! :)
