multiple nights, same city, how many posters you prefer?

when pearl jam plays multiple nights in the same city/venue...what is your preference in regards to posters? do you want a different poster for each night, or 1 to cover the run of shows?

me...i prefer 1 for the lot.
hell, that's how i developed this poster sickness in the first place....that italy 2006 poster, for all 5 cities! :twisted:

now sure, i definitely like 1 per city, but i liked how in 2003 for MSG, 1 poster for both nights, as oppposed to 2008 and 2 posters, merely a color shift. and yes, i know i don't have to buy both...but being the 'completist' that i am, i collect from every show i attend.


so i am merely curious, what do other people think?
this popped in my head b/c i see from the presale, chicago is getting 2 posters.

I only buy a poster when its something I like the artwork of and would like to see hanging on my wall, and has nothing to do with how many cities or where.

well i have 4 shows in la and i'd prefer 1 poster...if it were 2 shows i don't mind 2 posters but 3 or more shows 1 poster is good

sure, i get that.....but i was simply curious for those who do buy from every show they attend, their thoughts on it. and i do have all my posters framed and on my walls, even those i may not love....b/c i love the memories of em all.....

yea, see...i am not saying i 'mind'...but it definitely is my preference. 1 is more than enough for the same city/venue imo.

I would definitely prefer only 1 poster for each city. I only pre-ordered the poster for night 1. I'll wait to see what the posters look like to decide if I'm going to buy the poster for night 2. But I'm turning into a "completist" too so I'm sure I'll end up buying both even if its the same design and just a different color scheme.

I try to get a poster to any show I go to, but am not crazy about the same poster with a color variance. Can't we be a little more creative? I understand it though if there is a cool one night one why should night 2 not get the same chance at it but still have a unique one.

I would be pissed say if there were 2 DC shows and night one got a DC Klausen and night two the DC ames. Both cool posters, but lets face it the Klausen...

actually if they 'have' to have seperate posters, i do prefer they be related....but honestly, i just prefer 1 poster, period. it's more cost effective, less wall space, and i still get a poster with all the show dates i've attended. granted, i realize they make more $$$ with multiple posters, it's simply my own personal wish/preference to have just 1.

I prefer one poster covering all the shows in one particular city. It's more affordable for me that way.

I actually like differnt posters for different nights, but that is more beacause I like the art and seeing what they can come up with. I would not mind one poster for multiple shows in one city though.

Well, I like to buy one for two nights in the same city. BUT.

I have to admit that I made the mistake of getting the kool-aid poster instead of the dragon poster (because I liked the pink and red retro color scheme better) in Toronto in 2006 and I realize now that I probably should have gotten both because the Dragon one is the one people are always searching for... :?


I guess my point is...get both if they are different.

I like when the same art is used but the colours are changed. The Boston 04 posters were amazing!

i'd be ok with that...they can hang in spot and i can rotate them

yea they are beautiful and i have them both as well. that said, i am still all for 1 poster per city, it's just more economical all the way round.
