Iconoclasts

Last night I practiced some guitar for about an hour and was just not feeling it. Then I thought about putting on a concert dvd. As I scanned my huge collection I was gravitating towards PJ (of course), but had reservations because I've watched them sooo many times lately. (no cable or satellite can lead to watching a lot of music dvds). I almost threw on IIC, but suddenly remembered that i had Iconoclasts somewhere, so I dug it up, cracked a rum & coke and put my feet up.
Watching Iconoclasts just simply makes me happy. To see how humble and genuine Eddie appears, really makes me feel even better about being such a huge fan of their music. I think I am a fan of him as a person as well. He has stood up well to fame and fortune. The way they talked about the double circle rainbow showed how awe-inspiring nature is to them.
Seeing him paint that picture for Laird was such a special moment for me. I just felt like that was such an interesting tidbit into the mind of Ed.
And on a side note, I had never caught Lairds reference to the movie "the Jerk", but last night it got me laughing my ass off.
Anybody watch this and get the same feel?

great series to watch. i really love to surf so its extra special that EV was a part of it too.
That quote that Ed says when he's painting the picture about the scale of the wave how it could be 2ft or 30ft is my favorite part of the whole episode
