...you all know you're going to miss that anxiety that you would inevitability get the day of the show worrying whether some unexpected event or someone individually would cause you to miss out on getting a poster before they're all scooped up. ;-)

Luckily for me, I still get to experience that thrill for the Philly shows. :)

Funny, I never participated in that hell/misery for a concert poster. Concert day is for music and friends only. Not to be standing in line for anything other than a cold beer.

That said, I do really like to get the posters from the shows I attended. So, doing that after the shows was always also kind of a pain in the ass as we would hardly get much notice when the posters from the shows we wanted went on sale.

So for me, this is giving me the poster up front, without hassle, and without having to get it at the show.

    Thanks Ten Club!!!
  • maybe I'm a pooper, but for some reason getting something AT the actual show meant something for me. Of course, yes, I would suffer from great anxiety (as I did on the last tour) of someone wrecking my poster somehow, but I don't know. I like getting souveniers of the actual event at the event.

That being said, I have tracked down many a souvenier on eBay after the fact, but that's only because I COULDN'T find it at the show at the time.

I wonder if this is going to increase the poster runs? Now with having a pre-order they will now how many they should print and then still have some for the concert goer.

Exactly how I feel. I dont like worrying about the posters the day of the show, but it was always a pain to find the ones you want after the fact. Now I won't have to worry about either!

I have always made it a point to get a poster at every show i've attended. Standing in line for a poster is just a normal part of a Pearl Jam concert to me. Sadly that streak ended last year when I went to see them in Columbia, SC and missed out on a poster all because of a flat tire causing us to arriving late. I came close to buying one on ebay but could never justify the cost. Besides, it's more fun getting it at the show.

I'm sure they're going to have posters at the show too. Use your heads people!
