I like it a lot too, I still think Yield is the best album art-up there with Abbey Road, Morrison Hotel, and Freewheelin

I like it the best personally.

Yield cover really? It's just kind of a basic photo cover to me. Nothing spectacular.

I'll try a list (up to Avocado, including Lost Dogs and Ten re-release):
    1. Vitalogy (I just love the "old book" style)
    2. Binaural
    3. Yield
    4. No Code
    5. Riot Act
    6. Lost Dogs
    7. Avocado
    8. Ten (redux - Deluxe Edition)
    9. vs.
    10. Ten (original)

That actually was quite tough, as I like pretty much all of them.

Backspacer looks strong, I'll have to see it in its entirety first though... Might rank up quite high.

Yeah, I'm agreeing right now: best artwork ever.

Yield is still my favourite (or maybe Ten, but that's more nostalgia than anything). No Code is great, but does anyone else have a crappy copy that folds out in one long row so it doesn't actually work in making the overall image?

Really liking the look of Backspacer though.

Not going to be popular but im not a big fan of the new album cover :? but i shouldnt judge it until i see the finished product. Anyway, heres my list of best to worst covers

    1. No Code
    2. Yield
    3. Vitalogy
    4. Avocado
    5. Binaural
    6. Vs
    7. Riot Act
    8. Ten

I think at the mo i put the backspacer album cover above Ten.

Okay: favourite album covers by PJ.

1 Backspacer (imagine getting an acid tab with one of those illustrations on it: awesome)
2 No Code (even if it is a bit of a bad-trip Achtung Baby, to look at)
    3 Yield (slick shit, huh?)
4 Ten (the pink's not thaaaaaaaaaaat bad)
5 Vitalogy (makes you want to pick it up and read about the deleterious effects of self-pollution, every time)
6 Binaural (a bit lazy, using NASA stock images, but the typefont is cool)
    7 Vs. (er, it's a sheep)
    8 Avocado (I don't like Avocado)
9 Riot Act (so, it's a skeletal chrome king and queen of nothing, festering in a sea of gaseous brown shit and methane, I think)

It's good but No Code will never be topped..there's hours and hours of just pouring over those photos..it's a beautiful piece of cover art.

    Looking forward to Backspacers though.

The Yield art is great because every picture in the booklet has a Yield sign hidden in it! It's a bit of a challenge to find some of them and that's what makes it great. And the photos are really cool too!

My favourite is still the original No Code vinyl that opens out into the big square picture (not the re-released cd that's a straight line). I'd like to see the full Backspacer package to see what they do with the art as a whole.

    1 - No Code
    2 - Yield
    3 - Vitalogy
The rest are pretty equal in my eyes

I'm with you on that, I find it really ugly.

my choice would be (purely the cover not packaging, subject to change of mood):
    1. Binaural (I even have it as my mobile background)
    2. Yield
    3. Vitalogy
    4. Riot Act
    5. Avocado
    6. Ten Redux
    7. RVM
    8. No Code
    9. Lost Dogs
    10. Ten
    11. Backspacer
    12. Vs (which ironically is my fav album)

If we're judging by booklets, then that changes the game entirely :D

I like No Code the best. I like Backspacer's art, but the style feels a little too "childish" for me to rank it up with their best art. (Which would probably run something like No Code, Yield, Binaural, and Vitalogy for me)
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

We don't know what the full Backspacer package is going to look like yet. At the moment all we've seen is the cover and, while it is a cool cover, the rest of it could still be shite. Yield and No Code were cool packages, I don't see how Backspacer can be proclaimed as the best PJ art ever just yet. If the booklet is crappy then people will soon forget about the cover art
