When i was a young kid, probably around 12, i was obsessed with Frank Zappa......And as a drummer Terry Bozzio!! So when i became a Pearl Jam fan in 1991 i was really stoked at how anti-pop (if you will?!?!) the drumming on Ten was....Skip to Vs. coming out. I, as usual, learned and played along with it as fast as i could! (I still warm up to it, BadMotorfinger, Dirt, and Siamese Dream all the time) Then i got to W.M.A. and low and behold it was an austinado (Sp?...A drum arrangement, or beat that is composed rather than just the obvious, usually with all four limbs playing completely independent) So, i practiced, and cursed, and practiced till i worked it out...only to learn it was a loop with overdubs!!! dammit!....to this day i want to throw that down with them live!!!
Anyway, skip to here recently when i decided to break down the austinado of Who You Are....Man what I've worked out is pretty killer....and i even souped up the turn-around at the end of the bridge nicely! So my question is this, aside from the obvious shakers etc....has anyone read, or seen any footage of Jack Irons tracking that song, is it an austinado, or just another loop (and/or beat) with a shit-ton of overdubs?!

sorry this was so long, but im sure if there is an answer, I'd find it here....Im loving this place (Ten Club forums), and can't believe i hadn't messed with it before

Thanks!....riCo

ps....In My Tree was fun too.....but its more of a tribal thing, not an austinado....
