Whats the deal in this situation...

I am a 10C member but I don't have 10C tickets to the show I just have regular tickets because the 10Cs sold out too fast. So can I still get in on a poster presale for the shows I am going to?

I think its clear from the email that you have to have 10C tickets for a show to do the presale:

"Posters available ONLY to those who purchased Ten Club tickets to that particular show except ***."

The 'except' being Calgary and V-fest.

don't worry there will be plenty of opportunities to get the prints

10C will have their regular after tour sales and with this option of presale those later sales should go more smoothly

you can also get it at the show or from the artist when they do their sales, and then there will be ebay as a last resort and lately PJ posters have been selling low on ebay

pearl jam posters post 1999 = baseball cards post 1980....

    WORTHLESS

    fixed.

And by worthless I mean as the original poster did, they now mass produce these things to a point where no one should ever again worry about getting one.

I'm pretty sure this pre sale will simply put more in circulation. They will probably have the same amount at the shows and they will still do post show ten club sales.

In fact I would guess that quite a few of these will be worth much less than $37.50.

AND for the record I'm good with all of this. I simply want a poster for each show I go to. Now I know I'll never again have to worry about paying out the arse for one.

Less of a valuable collectors item for the monetary reasons, and more of a collectors item for the love of the art and the show. Ok by me.

Do people here even read the messages the 10 Club sends us? It says clear as day in the email....and the sticky...and the news story on Pearl jam.com that you are only eligible if you bought tickets from the 10 Club. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here (and I know I am) but come on people. Read what they tell you before asking stupid questions.

    bear with me

does anyone think it's possible that the 10c probably considers 10c members who purchase tix are going to be purchasing a poster.

so.. if the regular run of a poster is 1400 max, don't you think they are still releasing the same amount minus the amount they sold to 10c members in the presale?

not to mention that I have never purchased a AP s/n poster from a show, so how valuable are they anyway?

That said, I think people have wanted this, they listened. let's see how it works out.

I think it is a fantastic idea. Stressing about a poster is the last thing I want to do at a PJ show.

    Thanks Ten Club!

    amen
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Agreed! More of a souvenir for me then an investment!
