Tube Screamer problem

The switch on my TS5 is shot. I have a show in a little over a week. I'm not wanting to spend too much money but I need the tube screamer. We tried to replace the switch with a push button (looks like a phase 90 switch) but it's still cutting in and out. It only turns on and off when it wants. Anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

  • Small Bear Electronics has switches for the ts5. Email them and tell them your situation and they will help you out. Whenever I order from them parts usually ship in 3 to 4 days. Or you can ask them what the part number is and maybe your local electronics store will have it.

    Here's their website: http://www.smallbearelec.com
Here's the switch you want: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=35

...If your extra ambitious you can ask about a dpdt switch and make it true bypass with a little extra wiring/soldering.
