MSG Camera policy

Did anyone from MSG1 have any problems bringing in a camera? I'm going tonight and was thinking about bringing my camera, but don't want to have to go back to my friend's place if they don't allow them.

I know PJ's policy is that taking photos with small hand held cameras is okay, but venue's can have different policies.

    Everyone around me, including myself, had small digital cameras. I wasn't even checked on the way in. Security was just waving everyone through.

    no problems at all. i sneaked in a 12X zoom bigass camera without any problems. they tell you to open the bag, but dont even look inside for 1 sec. i put it in the middle zippered compartment of my messenger bag. too easy.

    i brought in my small canon point and shoot, but it just can't cut the mustard the way the SLR does...so i'm gonna try to sneak in the 30d at some point.

    the girl next to me was taking pictures all night. don't think you'll have a problem.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

    I'll take my camera and see how the pics turn out. Hopefully better than Lollapalooza...I think I took 40 pictures and 1 was recognizable. My current camera has higher shutter speed so stage movement won't be as big a problem.
