Poster Option with 10 C tickets

I've been noticing from reading the forums that people have been having a hard time getting posters. I was thinking it would be a good idea if when you bought 10C tickets, you could click a box to have the cost of a poster added to your ticket. Just curious, has anyone suggested something like this before? Obviously if you wanted to wait to see what it looked like you could still get one from the merch table.

been suggested many times....the catch is there is only 500 posters per show so who decides who gets a poster?

They need to make more posters. Screw this "we like them because they're rare" argument. 99% of the bullshit that causes problems with the posters would magically disappear if there were more being made and/or made available.

true....although i read somewhere that since these are silk screened prints the screen wears out after a while....or something like that...point being that there aren't large print runs.....however, they should make inexpensive copies for people that just want a souvenir from the show and aren't into the "art" of the posters :)

Even though there are more 10C tix than posters, I guess I figured most people wouldn't automatically buy one not knowing what they look like. Plus, shouldn't fan club members have first dibs on the posters? :)

I would go as far as borrowing a poster from someone, running it through our 42" scanner, plotting it, and sending the $$ to Klausen

Aren't the posters done relatively close to the show date, too? I'd think if you're buying tickets and you can select an option to get the poster, you'd be buying it blindly, having no idea what it looks like, since the tickets are sold in advance.

In most cases, they're pretty awesome though, so it'd be worth it no matter what, I suppose.

They should just do a t-shirt, poster, tickets package. When you arrive at the show you show them a confirmation and you get a poster and a shirt when you pickup your tickets. Then you could put the poster in your car and put on the shirt or do whatever with it--this would of course just be for 10 Club tickets and an option and not a requirement.

And Eddie should come to your house to do a preset the night before the show. Maybe he could bring copies of the setlist and a set of picks from the entire band
