I still can't believe my wife agreed to name the baby after a rock band...

    Imagine if when your daughter becomes a teenager she says to you "Mom, ya know, I actually think that Creed is better. I mean...I really like Pearl Jam. But Stapp's lyrics are so deep. They speak to me." What would you say?

    Congrats to you both on the birth of Emma Pearl. Whem my son was born in 96 I hoped he'd be a fan and now goes to shows with me. Went by quickly so enjoy each day.

    Our oldest objected when I wanted to name his little sister, Pearl Jane. He's a PJ hater...(but there's hope - he likes "Got Some" song and will give the new album a listen).

    So we ended up naming his little sister Livia Rose when she was born April 11, 2002. Weird, eh? :P

    Our oldest was born on June 11th and our fourth (and last!!!) was born on April 11th... all season kids - in that order!!! Boy, girl, boy, girl.... hahaha.

    I told my hubby that was the "completed" circle for our kids. ;) But no PJ related names at all. *shrugs*

    Good for them because they aren't freaks like their parents.

    Anyway... here's to many wonderful years of parenting!!! :D:D:D

    My Elizabeth Pearl was born at 12:05 on Wednesday July 29th.

    It's pretty damn amazing that babies happen like this.

    Congrats on Emma Pearl. Maybe Emma and Elizabeth, the Pearl's, can meet up at a show in 7 years or so.

    You never know... the 3 & 5 year old are already lobbying to be brought to a concert. We thinking that one day we'll take them to a show where we can get lawn seats and hang out way in the back, away from the craziness.

    I didn't believe it when son was born only a few weeks ago, but "sleep" will definitely have a different meaning.

    A tip: print out some responses you get on this forum. You can tell Pearl latter that those were the first responses of crazy fans (well, besides her dad of course) who welcomed her to the Jammily.
