around the release date for Backspacer? if thats the case, maybe its 'the' Backspacer single? not sure how these release schedule things usually go down.

how can you be pretty sure - what are your sources, or methods of research? I'm willing put any wager down that it isn't got some actually, nor will it actually ever be released as a single.

i find it odd how people get offended by me merely stating an opinion that isn't offensive to begin with and when i back up my argument, they tend to attack where i'm from and how old i am, and other things that don't matter...it's happened before here on the board and i'm not trying to start anything...all i do is add my $0.02...anywho before this thread gets locked and i get in trouble for being a part of even a small argument, i'm gunna stop posting in this thread...

You stated an opinion in the sense that you were right: "i'm pretty sure it's going to be got some" were your exact words. That was a statement rather than an opinion, a statement which you didn't back up. Following trends of the music industry has a lot to do with the past, and similiar logistics, which is where age is a factor, of just being around when things have happened. Didn't mean to go all balls to the wall on you, but rather a collective bunch of people on the boards state their opinion as fact, without any backup, nor knowledge of the subject. Yes, we are dealing with a band that writes their own rule book as they go, but you can't diminish the fact that they don't take pages from anyone else including themselves along the way.
You're reading comprehension isn't much better, if I'm honest: 'I'm pretty sure' means he feels quite confident with his opinion, his guess, his view, but he's not definitely right. How you took offence to his post, I have no idea. Your first reply was the aggressive post. What the next single eventually turns out to be has absolutely no relevance.
Now, just to add my view, at this point, Got Some seems like an obvious choice: they've already used it for promotional purposes (on Conan) and it was at one point down to be the first single, whether that was just a typo-like error, we don't know. Considering we know so little else about Backspacer, that's just about all we can guess at.
