"grunge is dead" by greg prato

its the "please kill me" of the grunge scene
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

  • read biographies of every grunge band and musical artist of the 80's and 90's and piece together the culture...it may be more work but rather than being told what life was like in the Seattle grunge movement, you get to practically discover it...

Five Against One is a decent PJ book which I enjoyed reading. There's also one on Kurt Cobain which I can't remember the title but it has a sort of close up of him on the cover in blue/grey colours.
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

Heavier Than Heaven by Charles Cross. Also check out Michael Azerrad's Come As You Are for Nirvana source material.

I'll also chime in as another vote for Greg Prado's Grunge Is Dead -- EXCELLENT read!

    hi everyone.

does anyone know where I can find one of these "seattle-bands-grunge-diagramm" ?

you know what I mean, the one where all the bands and members are linked to one another and it shows who played with who over the years etc.

I thought I had seen it online somewhere, can´t remeber though...

    any help highly appreciated, thanx!!
