The latest update is amazing! If you are on a wired internet connection, this is for you! So I downloaded this app, installed on 3 pc's. IMO, the best thing if you're a data photo/audio/video freak like myself!

You can listen, watch, view all the file's on your PC HD's directly though the PS3 menu screen. Listen to those Pearl Jam shn/flacs/mp3/video clips etc.. without downloading any codecs. Check it out & let me know what you think!

Thanks for this! I have a connection, but when I find the folders on the ps3 and open them to where the mp3's are, it says 'no images'. Does anyone know what I need to do to play the files?

On the PS3 menu, are you using the audio section / video section / photo section? Gotta be in the right section to open up the files.

Don't think there should be a problem. Though haven't tried streaming a huge .ts HD file. Watched a few this afternoon. Now I can watch all my .ts / mkv files from the pc directly to my ps3 now! There were a few mkv file's that worked on Data DVDr's, but many glitched out.

I was using Windows Media Player 11 for Media Sharing for a while then I switched to this a while back.

Oh, and yes...it does work with wireless connections!

I have my laptop chocked full of media and I stream it to my PS3 which is connected to my audio receiver.
    Sounds awesome!

If you have a PS3 you need to get this program.

Thanks for this. I've been wanting to get something like this for awhile, but I also want to buy a PS3. Now it seems like I can do both.

    One little tip I'd suggest...

Under the "Share Settings" tab, you can select the specific folders that will show up on your PS3.
For example, my iTunes folder was buried under 8 folders or so and it took time to sort through that crap.

In PS3 Media Server you can select that folder to share and when you turn on your PS3 it takes one click and you've got your tunes.
Same works for your pics, videos, etc.
(I also keep my c: drive shared too)
