Don't get me wrong, I wasn't specting Sottomayor to run the table, what on God's Green Earth did this woman do that would cause such a partisan split. The "wise latina" comment shouldn't be enough. I've gone through her record and don't see anything so earth shattering that would cause any hesitation for her going to the Supreme Court. Did I miss something.

I always thought the "Party of No" tags the Dems put on the GOP was stupid...but maybe it's becoming true. The GOP needs to tap into Latin Americans if they want a prayer for the next generation of Republicans, and they do this?

It will be basically a party line vote so that a lot of republicans in conservative states can avoid pissing off the right wing radio crowd.

It's almost like moderate republicans don't exist anymore, and the Rush/Hannity wing of the party is the only one making noise... Anytime that a republican legislator sides with dems on anything, they are branded as liberal RINOs that need to be voted out.

It's like the democratic party around the '04 election where the moveon.org wing of the party was calling all of the shots.
