Well I fell off the wagon big time. When the east coast tour was announced I swore off Pearl Jam. I wanted all the music to be fresh for the show and not really think about setlists or versions of songs or anything before Camden and MSG. Well today I was like a recovering addict after taking a small taste. Once I slipped up, I was done.
I listened to:

Ben Hall: both disks
Vs.
and
No Code

Ah well. I'll try and go back on tomorow. One day at a time. I need a sponser.

Dude, even if I wanted to go cold turkey, I couldn't. Almost every time I decide to listen to the radio instead of a PJ show, they play a PJ song...it's uncanny ;-)!!!

Glad I am not the only one. I still think thwe shows will be better if I can refrain though. Today was awsome after about a month off. U realize how good pj is when u force yourself to listen to something else everytime you are in the mood for your fix.

Yeah me too...it was a sunny Saturday and I was going out to run a few errands so I grabbed a CD, but that 2000 Katowice disk was just the one that happened to be first in line in the PJ box so I grabbed it...before I knew it I was done with my errands but had gone down to the basement where I can crank it up...had to listen to the entire show...God it gelt good...I felt a little guilty later, but also very re- energized!!
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

This is one wagon no one should ever hop on. Play it loud, play it proud. Often.

No way I could ever give up my PJ addiction. Even at work. I'm taking Benaroya and The Mansfield experiment to work tomorrow. Unplugged is Tuesday. Figure Gorge 05 experiment for Wednesday. Thursday, Bridge School. Or I could do a Dylan and go electric...after the boss departs.
