More Philly Shows Rumored

We’re unsure of how reputable PhillyMusicStore.com is (anyone in Philly know them?), however when info comes our way we feel compelled to share, so we’ll share this little rumor posted on their site:
PEARL JAM will be adding 2 more concerts at the legendary Spectrum on 10/27 and 10/31 !!!
They will be the last concerts ever played at the beloved and historic showplace of America !!!
So, Pearl Jam’s mini-tour of 9 dates which originally ended with 2 concerts on 10/28 & 10/30 at the Spectrum has now been increased to an 11 date mini-tour with the last 4 concerts taking place at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA before the venue is demolished to make way for an entertainment complex.
Pearl Jam will play on 10/27, 10/28, 10/30 and 10/31 !!!
The 10/28 and 10/30 concerts SOLD OUT in minutes !!!
Ticket on sale date and times will be announced shortly !!!
No other site, message board or other tried-and-true PJ news site mentioned this rumor, so we don’t mean to add fuel to the fire. We posted back on July 8th that a different Philly site (the reputable Phillymag.com) had reported 3 Spectrum dates then pulled the post…so who knows? More shows are always better in our books, though a date added after the originally publicized “last show at the Spectrum” would piss off a lot of scalpers who scooped up tickets thinking they could charge and arm and or leg for them later, would it not?
The Spectrum calendar is open both of those days. Might a small club Philly show might be more in order? We shall see…I think the best thing to do is check PearlJam.com or the Wachovia Spectrum Ticket Purchase page to keep yourself truly updated.

10.30 might've, probably did....but the 10.28 did hang around a few days. not great seats, but seats none the less. i guess for all intents and purposes they both 'sold out in minutes' of good seats, but yea....technically not true.
