i havent listened to the radio in a long time until driving with my dad yesterday and i heard it twice within an hour on 2 different stations... the DJs had positive things to say and mentioned the chicago shows... more buzz for a single than ive seen in awhile
Just wondering what stations you heard it on? I believe we live in the same area. Is 107.1 playing it at all?
im up north for the summer... it was XRT and the Loop that played it
wouldnt be surprised if WPGU was spinning it though too... i have a friend thats a DJ for them so if theyre not already ill make sure they start
not much else down that way that i could see playing it... maybe "the chief"?
When I'm teaching in the summer, I forget that some students and teachers have a nice long break. I was hoping WPGU would give it a chance, but I haven't heard it. Sirius/XM is playing it a bit.

dunno about the break being "nice"... but it certainly is long... WPGU tends to be too urbana hipster for their own good... ill start calling in to request
I'm in Dc right now for work. The day the Fixer came out, Elloit In The Morning annouced it and played it here on DC 101.1 They are playing it all the time here on DC. They even say what time it will come on: like the new Pearl Jam song will be on in 11 minutes at 5:15 etc. Today I heard it a couple of times and the DJ in the afternoon played Evenflow and then said I've been away and haven't heard the new pearl Jam song Fixer yet so here it is. So he played 2 Pearl Jam songs in a row. When the song was oer he asked people to text him with what they thought about the song. It totally does grow on you!
Sirius Satellite Radio has been playing it on Alt Nation and The Spectrum. My local rock radio station in Boston has been playing it at least once a day.
I've heard it twice so far. I don't even listen to radio that much anyway, except for internet radio. The station I heard it on was KROQ in Los Angeles (106.7 FM). KROQ has been known to not be too Pearl Jam friendly. The only times you'll hear any PJ song post-Vitalogy is when a new album is in the works. After the new album comes out, the second single may get played a few months after, and then it's back to the old song "Evenflowaliveblackjeremy" Pearl Jam's known for.
Started hearing it the last couple of days in Boston.

I think it was number one on 99.9 KISW all last week here in Seattle
Also it was the 10th most requested song as on 107.7 The End as of last night
I've been hearing it on both of these stations as well. I'm rarely in the car as I live really close to work and I'm hearing The Fixer and more other PJ songs as well.
