Pearl Jam East Coast Shows?

With a lot of gaps in between the listed tour dates, it seems very possible that the band could make more announcements soon regarding more touring. What are the chances Pearl Jam plays dates on the East Coast? it doesn't seem like them to only play a handful of shows out west and leave out the east (only playing two shows in Philly) I'd think that they would play a lot more shows all over since they'll be out promoting the new album. Just a thought. Love to see them in boston/mansfield, they always rip it up here for an amazing crowd!

i would strongly doubt any other East Coast cities being added.

2010 will be a full tour.

  • vedder is quoted as to saying there will be very few dates if any in 2010 due to a member having a child.

Yea, but that was back in January and it was said by Eddie, so I wouldn't be throwing any money down on that just yet.
    2006- Boston I
    2008- Boston I+II
    2009- Toronto, Philly III+IV
    2010- Bristow, Hartford, Boston, Newark
  • they haven't really done a full american tour since riot act so we'll see...i hope so tho

    agreed.
while it would be awesome to see them in NY again, i highly doubt it....thus my trip down to philly.

and in regards to ed's comments, i think we all know em, and yes he made them in january. so either the baby is already born and already had some quality time.....or ed was just talkin'. :P i can imagine them spacing shows out, taking a few months rest, whatever....but i cannot imagine them releasing an album and not having a "real" tour. wasn't it jeff who said they would return to europe, after the 4 shows in august? so yea.....i think they'll start up a US, europe, perhaps SA tour in the spring. maybe take january-march off.

I call bull on no 2010 dates. They'd be stupid to release an album and then play 20 shows in only a handful of major market cities, especially with how may places have been neglected since 2006 or 2003.

I'd say we'd get the following next year: NYC, DC, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston/Dallas, St. Louis, Denver, Alpine Valley, Deer Creek, Minneapolis, San Fran, Seattle, LA.
    Pittsburgh 6/23/06
    Madison Square Garden 6/25/08

I definitely think they'll be a full blown US Tour in 2010. Save your money, because I'm predicting numerous shows!

it's certainly a little bizarre concerning the lack of tour dates that they have to promote their new music

maybe alla the talk about a 2nd ep coming out from these sessions, maybe that will be heavily promoted by a tour next year

    Let's go back 13 months...

It doesn't seem like them to play 14 shows on the East Coast and leave out the west coast...

With band members settling down, having children, and maturing, I think there's a likelihood that they won't have any more "full blown" tours. We might have to learn to accept the new touring structure for a band that has fans worldwide.
