QUESTION ABOUT O2 LONDON TICKETS

hey, something just occurred to me.
I was under the impression that the tickets i ordered for o2 from the ten club site would act as the shepherds bush and wembley the other year, in the sense that there is a ticket booth thing where u have to show id to buy the tickets etc.

However the email simply says "thanks for the order, youll get another one when its been processed"

Does this mean they will be coming in the post?
and has anyone had this second email?

Apologies if this sounds stupid or obvious.

  • No, you'll get a second email nearer the time that you have to take to the venue with photo id to collect your tickets.

Not overly happy with having to carry my passport to a gig that I'll then be jumping around at...

This is the initial confirmation of your Ten Club ticket purchase for the Pearl Jam show on 18/8 in London.

    1) Your Ten Club purchase is for two (2) general admission, standing tickets.

    2) Tickets are not mailed in advance. Tickets are distributed at the box office at the venue on the day of the show.

    3) Ten Club members must be present to collect the tickets at the box office on the day of the show.

    4) All Ten Club members must show photo identification to collect purchased tickets.

    5) Ticket distribution will begin approximately 2 hours before doors open. More information about box office location and door times will follow closer to the date of the show.

    6) There will NOT be early entry for this show. All Ten Club ticket buyers will enter the venue with the general public. There will not be a special reserved fan club section inside the venue.

    7) All ticket sales are final.

Additional questions regarding your tickets can be directed to tickets@tenclub.net.

    Thanks

    this I'm very worried about.
Having seen the mess that ticket distribution for NIN was the other week (there was still a massive queue by the time Jane's Addiction hit the stage! that's 2 hours AFTER doors. I was glad I didn't get tix through NIN but through TM, took me only 5mn to pick them up that way ), I can guarantee you that if they only start distributing 2 hours before doors, there'll be plenty of people still waiting to pick up when the doors open.. and possibly even when PJ hits the stage. :?

wembley arena in 2007 the ticket collection started at noon so you could pick up your tickets/bands nice and early and then not have to worry about it for the rest of the day. 2 hrs before doors open sounds like a recipe for disaster.

    Why are they doing this?...

I can understand giving 10c members same conditions as "Regular People" for once, but not worst conditions...

I must admit I´m dreading the whole TC ticket processing this time in London.
I will be arriving at Heathrow 4 p.m and will be at the venue around 6 p.m at the earliest.
I can´t stand the thought of going all the way to England just to end up in a line and hear the first notes of the opening song

oh well...just gotta hope for the best right?

  • I'm thinking of booking a half day from work and sitting outside the collection point with a few beers and a cool bag
